We are SARAH SENECA Residential Services and we provide support and assistance to Individuals with Intellectual and physical disabilities in residential settings.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to serve as a resource, consultant, and support to Program managers and Direct Support staff to ensure highest quality of care is provided to individuals.

To act as part of the Admin team to ensure all staff are following all polices and regulations set forth by DDS, SSA, and any other Federal and State mandates.

Essential Job Functions will include:

-Act as an agency resource by remaining knowledgeable in all DDS, DSS, and SSA policies, procedures, and regulations for Residential programs

-Performing Quality Assurance Audits for all program sites of all case records, Medical files, Fire Drills, Data Collection, etc.

-Conducting Financial Audits for all Program sites including monthly tracking sheets and COH.

-Completing Physical Plant walk throughs to assess any needed maintenance repairs.

-Attend and assist with House Meetings and Management meetings providing guidance and support to Program Managers.

-Serve as part of the Admin Team to help supervise Program Managers and Staff and ensure compliance.

-Provide agency trainings on various topics related to Quality Assurance such as licensing and QSR requirements, Data collection, Documentation, Therap, and the Individual Plan process.

-Assist with Training new Program Managers on the licensing and QSR requirements.

-Maintain professionalism with all staff, guardians, funding sources, and help to build cooperation, initiative, and teamwork.

-Assist with other special assignments as assigned by the Executive Director and Assistant Executive Director.

-Rotate the Administrator on Call responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

-3-5 years of previous Program Manager or Quality Assurance experience and or related experience in a human services setting with individuals with developmental disabilities.

-2 years of previous experience providing staff trainings

-Bachelors Degree and/ or applicable programmatic and administrative experience.

-Masters Degree in human services or a related field is desirable.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

-Valid State of Connecticut Drivers license with clean driving record

-Must provide own transportation to program sites

-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, processing spreadsheets, and other database computer programs

-Experience with Therap a plus

-Ability and flexibility to work independently and as a team as needed

-CPR and First Aid certification
